Daisy served for 32 years in the NYC Department of Education before retiring. During her tenure at the school building level, she worked as a teacher and an Assistant Principal at the elementary, middle and high school levels. During that time, she developed skill in crafting and implementing K- 12 curriculum and built expertise at teacher development. At the central office level, Daisy served as staff developer and Achievement coach for Literacy, English Language Learners and Students with Disabilities before becoming a Network Leader for 25 schools. As an Administrative Assistant Superintendent and member of the School Accountability Department, Daisy’s last position was Director of School Quality. She conducted over 50 Quality Review across NYC helping principals understand how to use school evaluations as a tool for school improvement.
